What is a cookie?
In today's world, virtually every website uses cookies, or cookies. They consist of small text files stored on the User's end device. They are created by your web browser and store the settings and information needed (and often necessary) for the proper functioning of the website. The next time you visit the website from the same device, the browser can check whether there are cookies that store important information and send them again to the visited website that previously saved the cookie on your device. In this way, the website can recognize that the user has visited it before and, for example, adjust the presented content to the recipient.

Advantages of cookies
Cookies make it easier for the user to use previously visited websites. If the user uses the same device and browser as before, this allows his preferences to be remembered and allows the website to be properly displayed, tailored to his individual needs. Cookies allow you to create statistics that help you understand how Users use the website, which allows you to improve its structure and content. They also allow you to maintain the Website User's session (after logging in), thanks to which each subsequent subpage of the website does not require re-logging.

Controlling and deleting cookies
The user may change the way cookies are used at any time. Most browsers offer the option of accepting or rejecting all cookies, accepting only certain types of cookies, or informing you each time a website tries to save them. The user can also easily delete cookies that have already been stored on the device by the browser. The options for managing and deleting cookies vary depending on the browser you use. All necessary information can be found by the User using the Help function in his browser or by visiting the website http://www.aboutcookies.org/, where it is explained how to control and delete cookies in the most popular browsers. Remember that blocking all cookies may cause difficulties in operation or completely prevent the use of some website functionalities.

What cookies does the website use?
The website uses cookies, which can be divided as follows:

  • "necessary" - i.e. enabling the use of services available on the Website, e.g. maintaining the session after logging in the user
  • "functional" - files that enable "remembering" selected settings and affecting the personalization of the interface
  • "securing" - supporting the assurance of security
  • "performance" - files enabling the collection of information on how the Website is used
